Obesity is simply defined as a condition of abnormal or excessive fat accumulation in the adipose tissue, to the extent that health may be impaired. The difference between overweight and obesity is the level of body mass index (BMI).
A person is considered obese when the BMI is over 30 and considered overweight when the BMI is between 25-29.9.
As disappointing as it may seem, very many persons do not know their BMI. Some persons often wrongly assume that one is overweight when he or she is large on both sides, or more preferably chubby. – Obesity and overweight also affect pregnancy. It can cause hormonal imbalances that may trigger problems with ovulation and menstrual cycle. Obese women take longer to conceive than the women with healthy weight range. When they do conceive they have a higher risk of pregnancy complications, gestational diabetes, or premature birth.
And yes, the common defect we all know; loss of a good body shape. You could lose your shape if you are obese. And the very chubby persons have a greater chance of developing body odor, because of the excess sweats they produce.

Exercises today is more than merely a general need to keep fit. It is now known that exercise graduated to age is also a partial safeguard against obesity and overweight. Thus preventing out some degenerative diseases including heart and circulatory conditions. Exercise is today more than ever an essential personal health practice. It helps the whole musculature, the circulatory and respiratory systems, the skin and the nervous systems to develop normally and fully. The secret is that every time you jog lots of fat is burned. Especially those around the heart regions, the stomach and your whole leg, starting from the hip to the feets. It also relieves you of stress and anxiety, which may have come from your home, working place, school, or even a depressing call from your accountant.
