Common Regular Exercise You Overlook That Work Miracle in Obesity

Obesity is simply defined as a condition of abnormal or excessive fat accumulation in the adipose tissue, to the extent that health may be impaired. It is the undesirable positive energy balance and weight gain. Overweight is also the condition of the excess weight of a person. The difference between overweight and obesity is the level of body mass index (BMI).

A person is considered obese when the BMI is over 30 and considered overweight when the BMI is between 25-29.9.

As disappointing as it may seem, very many persons do not know their BMI. Some persons often wrongly assume that one is overweight when he or she is large on both sides, or more preferably chubby. But it is not all true, even a slim person can be overweight. These set of persons are often referred to as “skinny fat”. When it comes to your health, the mirror and the scale tell only part of the story. You may look great in a bikini, but if you don’t take care of yourself you could be just as unhealthy as an obese person. Even if you are healthy overall, sporting a spare tire can be dangerous.

In fact, recent studies on weight gain have shown that normal-weight people with excess fat around the middle have an even greater risk of dying early than the obese peers.

Skinny people can still have high levels of body fat, especially if they lack lean muscle mass. And if you can’t remember the last time you broke a sweat, there is a good chance this could be you.

When people aren’t overweight, they do not have the incentive to work out and get in shape’, says Dr. Anthony. ‘ But without regular exercise, they just got more and more unhealthy’.

Obesity is not only a disease for developing countries but also common in developed countries. In fact, most civilized countries have been accounted to have more percentage of obese people than the uncivilized countries. In 2014, statistics shown that America, has the highest percentage of obese people, with more than one-third (37.7%) of U.S adults age 20 and older, and 17% of children and adolescents age 2-19years being obese.

Several factors contribute to obesity and overweight ranging from cultural, social and environmental factors. Some of these include:

Certain types of food and eating habits have been linked to weight gain and obesity, for instance snacking, binge-eating, and eating out. Fat is the underlining factor that causes obesity. Too much intake of fat and sugar could lead to obesity. Most persons would prefer canned food, burgers, rolls, pizza, shawarma, and baked snacks than the supposed healthy foods, either because they are too lazy to go into their kitchen, or too busy. They consume more fatty foods thus, accumulating lots of fat in their body, which then gradually leads to obesity. Fruit combinations can be of great help too.

The second on the list is the Sedentary lifestyle

We all know what that means. For those who may not know, it is a type of lifestyle with very little or no physical activity. A person living a sedentary lifestyle is often sitting or lying while reading, socializing, watching television, playing video games, or using their cell phones for much of the day. Unfortunately, very many of us are as guilty as charged. Sometimes we misconceive┬áthis with having fun. Well maybe we are, but our body isn’t.

The third on the list is Social Changes

One would ask; Does our social life affect human health, and contributes to overweight and obesity?, the answer is Yes. You sit all day in your sitting room watching television, and you order some pizza. At work, during your lunch time, you want to go to the shawarma spot, or now that you own a car you cannot walk with your fits again at least three times a week. if you do have a fatty body by nature you may as well develop overweight.

We may not have to blame you for having a fatness gene, but we will surely accuse you of not taking proper care of your body, in respect to your genetic trait. Yes, it can b controlled.

Several experiments have shown that both overweight and obesity have a far-ranging negative effect on human health. they are:

-High blood pressure.

One will be bound to ask if really? Yes, Overweight is a risk factor for Diabetics and the most unfortunate part of this. Is that you only have to manage it. But calm your nerves, you can live as long as you want if the right precautions are taken. Stick to a healthy diet regimen

-Atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries).

This is as a result of fatty deposits on the walls of the arteries causing restriction of blood flow and inturns harden the arteries.

-Joint problems, including osteoarthritis, due to extra stress placed on the knee and hip joints due to overweight.

Obesity is known to cause abnormal heart rhythm called arrhythmias, which when severe can lead to the heart stopping (cardiac arrest).

– Obesity and overweight also affect pregnancy. It can cause hormonal imbalances that may trigger problems with ovulation and menstrual cycle. Obese women take longer to conceive than the women with healthy weight range. When they do conceive they have a higher risk of pregnancy complications, gestational diabetes, or premature birth.

And yes, the common defect we all know; loss of a good body shape. You could lose your shape if you are obese. And the very chubby persons have a greater chance of developing body odor, because of the excess sweats they produce.

Jogging at early hours of the day can do wonders. It is a very simple exercise and one do not need to pay a dime for it. All you need is your jogging pants and a light sports shoe. I would recommend Nike or addidas, because of their flexibility and the shock-absorbing soles.

The secret is that every time you jog lots of fat is burned. Especially those around the heart regions, the stomach and your whole leg, starting from the hip to the feets. It also relieves you of stress and anxiety, which may have come from your home, working place, school, or even a depressing call from your accountant.
